Our Story
It all started with a simple observation: how many still useful objects end up in the trash every day in Switzerland? How many people are looking for exactly what others are about to throw away?
In 2024, facing the growing environmental challenge and the need to rethink our consumption patterns, gibgib.ch was born from the desire to create a concrete and accessible alternative for all Swiss people.

Our Evolution
🚀 January 2024
Launch of the first version of gibgib.ch with basic features: object donation and point system.
📱 March 2024
Addition of integrated messaging system and mobile optimization to facilitate exchanges between users.
🌍 June 2024
Extension to all of Switzerland with advanced geolocation and filters by canton and city.
🤝 September 2024
Launch of partnership program with local associations and Swiss municipalities.
🎉 December 2024
First complete year with more than 10,000 objects exchanged and a community of 5,000 active members.
