Email verification ensures the security of your account and the community. It allows us to send you important notifications about your exchanges, recover your password if necessary, and prevent fraudulent accounts. It's protection for all gibgib.ch users.

Every new member of gibgib.ch can reserve 3 objects for free, without spending gibs. It's our welcome gift to let you discover the platform and start exchanging immediately. After these 3 objects, you'll need to use gibs (which you earn by giving objects) to continue.

Click on 'Publish an object' in your dashboard. Take 3-5 quality photos from different angles. Write a detailed description (condition, dimensions, brand). Choose the right category and indicate your location. Your ad will be immediately visible! Publishing is completely free.

A 'gib' is the virtual currency of gibgib.ch. It's a fair system that allows everyone to participate in the circular economy. 1 gib = 1 object you can reserve. You earn gibs by giving objects that are picked up, and you spend them to reserve new objects.

You earn 1 gib for each object given and picked up. You can also earn 1 gib by sponsoring a friend who signs up. It's possible to buy gibs packs (5-50 gibs) or receive transfers from other users. The system rewards generosity!

You can give almost any object in good condition: clothes, books, electronics, furniture, toys, decoration, sports, etc. The object must be clean, functional and safe. Check our list of prohibited objects for more details.

Prohibited: weapons, drugs, medicines, live animals, perishable food, stolen objects, counterfeits, dangerous or toxic products. Also prohibited: used underwear, used mattresses, and any object illegal in Switzerland.

You have exactly 24 hours to pick up the object after reserving it. This strict deadline ensures rapid object rotation and avoids blockages. A visible timer shows you the remaining time. Quickly organize the meeting with the giver!

If you don't pick up the object within 24h, you lose 1 gib and risk a temporary ban. The object becomes available again for other users. In case of repeat offense, sanctions worsen. Respect your commitments to maintain a reliable community!

Use gibgib.ch's integrated messaging. Click 'Contact' on the object page or in your reservations. Messages are secure, private and you receive real-time notifications. You can share photos and location to organize the meeting.
